In accordance with Article 54 of the Charter of the United Nations, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith resolution No. 5856 dated 18 March 1999, entitled " Occupation by Iran of the Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates " , adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its one hundred and eleventh regular session (see annex).
عمـلا بالمـادة ٥٤ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، يشرفني أن أحيل إليكم طيه القرار رقم ٥٨٥٦ المؤرخ ١٨ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٩ المعنون " احتلال إيران للجزر العربية التابعة لدولة اﻹمارات العربية المتحدة في الخليج العربي " ، الذي اعتمده مجلس جامعة الدول العربية في دورته العادية الحادية عشرة بعد المائة.

The decision is entitled " Occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abou Musa in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates " (decision No. 6616-125-3/4/2006).
وعنوان القرار " احتلال إيران للجزر العربية الثلاث طنب الكبرى وطنب الصغرى وأبو موسى التابعة لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في الخليج العربي " (القرار 6616-125-4 آذار/مارس 2006).

The resolution is entitled " Occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates: the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa " (resolution 418 (20) of 30 March 2008).
وصدر القرار بعنوان " احتلال إيران للجزر العربية الثلاث في الخليج العربي: طنب الكبرى وطنب الصغرى وأبو موسى التابعة لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة " (القرار 418 (20) المؤرخ 30 آذار/ مارس 2008).

I have the honour to transmit herewith resolution 7016, adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its meeting held at the ministerial level during its 131st ordinary session (Cairo, 1-3 March 2009), concerning the occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates: the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa (see annex).
أتشرف بأن أحيل طيه القرار 7016 الذي اتخذه مجلس جامعة الدول العربية في اجتماعه المعقود على المستوى الوزاري خلال دورته العادية الـ 131 (القاهرة، من 1 إلى 3 آذار/مارس 2009)، الذي يتعلق باحتلال إيران للجزر العربية الثلاث التابعة لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في الخليج العربي: طنب الكبرى، وطنب الصغرى، وأبو موسى (انظر المرفق).
