I. Organization and conduct of country reviews in the first and second years of the first review cycle

They expressed satisfaction with the participation of their countries in the first and second years of the first cycle of the Mechanism for the Review of Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, in their capacity as States under review or as reviewing States.

As part of ongoing efforts to reduce the costs of translation and maximize the efficiency of the reviews, governmental experts were encouraged to use where possible the language of the State under review or a common working language with the other reviewing State, as had been the practice in the first and second years.
