Assists the Governments and intergovernmental organizations in formulating industrial strategies and policies to stimulate growth in the manufacturing sector;
وتساعد الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية على صياغة الاستراتيجيات والسياسات الصناعية لتنشيط النمو في قطاع الصناعات التحويلية؛

The main contribution of this programme is to provide a strong analytical foundation for the process of formulating, implementing and monitoring industrial strategies and policies.

11. The services provided under this module are intended to improve the formulation, implementation and monitoring of industrial strategies and policies in order to enhance the contribution of industry to productivity growth and the achievement of the MDGs.

18. The objective of this subprogramme, which will be implemented with the participation of UNIDO, is to assist the Governments of the region in designing industrial strategies and policies that are consistent with their overall development objectives, giving priority to matters relating to the strengthening of their technological capacities and the enhancement of their international competitiveness.
