The Board recommends that UNMIL: (a) convene regular meetings of the Information and Communications Technology Review Committee and increase the scope of the Committee to include overall governance of information and communications technology; and (b) prepare a business continuity plan (para. 280).

The absence of the Information and Communications Technology Review Committee and Information Security Units would have an adverse impact on the information and communications technology governance structure of the Mission, specifically with regard to the overall strategy, the update of the system and the implementation of actions concerning information and communications technology (paras. 313 and 314).
ومن هنا فإن غياب لجنة استعراض تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات ووحدات أمن المعلومات سوف ينجم عنه أثر سلبي على هيكل حوكمة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في البعثة وبالذات فيما يتعلق بالاستراتيجية الشاملة وتحديث النظام المتبع وتنفيذ الإجراءات المتعلقة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات (الفقرتان 313 و 314).

The Administration agreed with the Board's recommendation that (a) UNMIK appoint new members to the Information and Communications Technology Review Committee and that (b) the United Nations Mission in the Sudan establish an Information Security Unit and assign the Information Security Coordinator, the Access Control System Administrator and the Security Systems Administrator (para. 315).
