Having considered the report by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) containing information on the development of an operational strategy in the climate change area and on the initial activities in this field (FCCC/CP/1995/4),

It had before it the report of the GEF to the Conference of the Parties on the development of an operational strategy and on initial activities in the field of climate change (FCCC/CP/1995/4).

كما ينبغي تقديم تقرير يتضمن معلومات عن وضع استراتيجية تشغيلية في مجال تغير المناخ وعن اﻷنشطة اﻷولية في هذا الميدان لكي ينظر فيه مؤتمر اﻷطراف في دورته اﻷولى، آخذاً في الاعتبار الفقرتين ٢)ﻫ( و)و( أعلاه.

The Committee recommended a draft decision entitled " Report of the Global Environment Facility to the Conference of the Parties on the development of an operational strategy and on initial activities in the field of climate change " (FCCC/CP/1995/L.1) for adoption by the Conference of the Parties under agenda item 6(c).
