Gravely concerned by the significant and increasing activities of transnational criminal organizations and others that profit from international trafficking in persons,
واذ يساورها بالغ القلق من ضخامة وتزايد أنشطة التنظيمات الاجرامية عبر الوطنية وغيرها من الجهات التي تجني أرباحا من الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ،

(b) Establish methods for gathering data and promote research to determine the modus operandi of international trafficking in persons;
)ب( اقرار طرائق لجمع البيانات وتعزيز البحوث الرامية الى كشف أساليب عمل الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ؛

“1. Within the scope of their respective areas of jurisdiction and within the framework of their domestic law, States Parties shall cooperate with one another in preventing and combating international trafficking in persons.
" ١ - يتعين على الدول اﻷطراف ، في نطاق مجالات الولاية القضائية لكل منها وفي اطار قوانينها الداخلية ، أن تتعاون معا على منع ومكافحة الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص .

“The purpose of this Protocol is to prevent, suppress, punish and investigate international trafficking in persons, especially women and children, for the purpose of forced labour or sexual exploitation, and in implementation thereof, States Parties shall be encouraged:
" الغرض من هذا البروتوكول هو منع وقمع ومعاقبة الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ، ولاسيما النساء واﻷطفال ، لغرض السخرة أو الاستغلال الجنسي ، والتحري عن ذلك الاتجار . وتحقيقا لذلك ، تشجع الدول اﻷطراف على أن :

The Convention sets out procedures for combating international trafficking in persons (especially women and children) for the purposes of prostitution.
وتنص الاتفاقية على إجراءات مكافحة الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص )لا سيما النساء واﻷطفال( ﻷغراض الدعارة.

(d) Declaring that effective action to combat international trafficking in persons, particularly women and children, requires a comprehensive, international approach in the countries of origin, transit and destination that includes measures to prevent such trafficking,
)د( واذ تعلن أن اتخاذ اجراءات فعالة لمكافحة الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ، ولا سيما النساء واﻷطفال ، يستوجب نهجا دوليا شاملا في بلدان المنشأ والعبور والمقصد يشمل تدابير لمنع هذا الاتجار ،

(c) Encourage, within the private sector, the establishment of professional associations, foundations, non-governmental organizations and research institutes concerned with the problem of international trafficking in persons; and
)ج( تشجيع انشاء جمعيات مهنية تخصصية ومؤسسات ومنظمات غير حكومية ومعاهد بحوث ، ضمن القطاع الخاص ، تعنى بمشكلة الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ؛

(d) Disseminate information relating to the different forms of international trafficking in persons and undertake programmed actions to combat such trafficking.
)د( تعميم المعلومات المتصلة بمختلف أشكال الاتجار الدولي باﻷشخاص ، واتخاذ تدابير مبرمجة لمكافحة هذا الاتجار .
