58. In the light of the above, the following recommendations on realizing the internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities towards 2015 and beyond may be considered for action:

The meeting resulted in a concise and action-oriented outcome document (resolution 68/3) that supports the aims of the Convention, the realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities.

His Government therefore welcomed the high-level meeting of the General Assembly on the realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities, held in New York in September 2013.
وأعرب عن ترحيب حكومته لذلك بالاجتماع الرفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة بشأن تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية وسائر الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، الذي عقد في نيويورك في أيلول/سبتمبر 2013.

(هـ) تقرير الأمين العام عن تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية وسائر الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة (A/66/128)؛

(b) The Commission for Social Development should consider options for establishing a standing mechanism to systematically review and monitor progress in realizing all internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities towards and beyond 2015 and to promote coordination, effective implementation and synergies among United Nations programmes;
(ب) ينبغي أن تنظر لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية في الخيارات المتاحة لإنشاء آلية دائمة للاستعراض والرصد المنتظمين للتقدم المحرز في تحقيق جميع الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة حتى عام 2015 وما بعده، وتعزيز التنسيق والتنفيذ الفعال وأوجه التآزر فيما بين برامج الأمم المتحدة؛

It had prepared two reports of the Secretary-General for submission to the sixty-sixth session of the General Assembly: on realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities (A/66/128) and on the status of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Optional Protocol thereto (A/66/121).
كما أعدت تقريرين يقدمهما الأمين العام في الدورة السادسة والستين للجمعية العامة: بشأن تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية وسائر الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة (A/66/128) وبشأن حالة اتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والبروتوكول الاختياري الملحق بها (A/66/121).

The General Committee took note of paragraph 2 of resolution 66/124, by which the General Assembly decided to hold a high-level meeting on the realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities, with the overarching theme " The way forward: a disability-inclusive development agenda towards 2015 and beyond " , on Monday, 23 September 2013.

As detailed in the report of the Secretary-General to the sixty-sixth session of the General Assembly on the realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities, disability is experienced disproportionately by those living in developing countries, and persons with disabilities are more likely to experience poverty.

(a) A total of 405 press releases relating to the main session of the General Assembly, including plenary meetings and meetings of the Main Committees, as well as high-level meetings on the realization of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed development goals for persons with disabilities, on sustainable development and on nuclear disarmament, held from mid-September to December 2013;
