9. On 26 April 1993, the Iranian forces shelled civilian areas inside Iraqi territory in the area of Tush Man, as well as areas adjacent to the town of Panjwin. As a result, a number of people were killed and wounded, and some of them were forced to flee to the area of Sayyid Sadiq and the town of Sulaymaniyah.

This is clear from the following text:
أود أن أنقل لمعاليكم ما ورد من تصريحات للسيد كنعان ايفرن رئيس الجمهورية التركية اﻷسبق لصحيفة )جمهوريت( التركية بتاريخ ١٩ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٦ والتي تتعلق ﺑ )نفط ولاية الموصل العراقية( وعن مشروع )احتلال جزء من اﻷراضي العراقية في الشمال( وكما هو واضح في النص التالي:

1. In the night of 26 to 27 July 1996, a unit of Iranian revolutionary guards estimated at approximately 3,000 armed men, travelling in more than 100 vehicles of various types equipped with heavy weapons and munitions, infiltrated into Iraqi territory in the Governorate of Sulaymaniyah and headed towards the town of Koi Sanjaq.

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that, on 19 April 1993, the Iranian artillery bombarded civilian areas in the Qal'at Dizah valley, Pishtashan and Qirnago inside Iraqi territory in northern Iraq. This bombardment caused the death of and injuries to a number of civilians and forced more than 3,000 men, women and children to flee the area in order to escape from the Iranian attack.

6. On 30 December 1996 a Turkish military force estimated at brigade-plus strength and consisting of commandos, gendarmes, mechanized infantry, armour and village guards under the command of the 23rd Gendarmerie Brigade based in Çortak vilayet crossed the international boundary into Iraqi territory in the Ufkuzi, Sinat and Bahnunah areas. The force was also supported by F-16 and F-4 fighter aircraft and Cobra helicopters.
