Peoples' experiences and customs must be respected in accordance with the principle of equality among all civilizations and cultures, whatever their various contributions to the civilization of humanity. In this regard, we would like to emphasize the important and enduring contribution to human civilization made by Islamic civilization.
وفي مثل هذا الحوار، لا وجود لحيز للاستعلاء الثقافي أو مجال لأحادية الثقافة؛ فتجارب الشعوب وعاداتها يجب احترامهما، استنادا إلى مبدأ المساواة بين الحضارات والثقافات كافة رغم اختلاف إسهاماتها في بناء الحضارة الإنسانية، ومنها الحضارة الإسلامية بما لها من تاريخ عريق وجذور عميقة في صرح الحضارة الإنسانية.
