The International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, Article 8, requires each State Party to take appropriate measures, in accordance with its domestic legal principles, for the detection and freezing, seizure or forfeiture of any funds used or allocated for the purposes of committing the offences described.
وتقضي المادة 8 من الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع تمويل الإرهاب بأن على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ التدابير المناسبة وفقا لمبادئها القانونية المحلية لكشف وتجميد أو حجز أو مصادرة أي أموال مستخدمة أو مخصصة لغرض ارتكاب الجرائم المبينة.

1. Each State Party shall take appropriate measures, in accordance with its domestic legal principles, for the identification, detection and freezing or seizure of any funds used or allocated for the purpose of committing the offences set forth in article 2 as well as the proceeds derived from such offences, for purposes of possible forfeiture.
١ - تتخذ كل دولة طرف التدابير المناسبة وفقا لمبادئها القانونية المحلية لتحديد أو كشف وتجميد أو حجز أي أموال مستخدمة أو مخصصة لغرض ارتكاب الجرائم المبينة في المادة ٢، وكذلك العائدات اﻵتية من هذه الجرائم وذلك ﻷغراض مصادرتها عند الاقتضاء.
