The Committee of Experts is invited to take note of the report and to express its views on the way forward in order to facilitate the integration of land and marine geospatial information so that planning, management and solutions can be identified for Member States in a seamless, interoperable and holistic way.

(a) Welcomed the report on integrating land and marine geospatial information,* and expressed its appreciation to the International Hydrographic Organization and the International Federation of Surveyors for contributing background papers on the subject;
(أ) رحبت بالتقرير المتعلق بتكامل المعلومات الجغرافية المكانية البرية والبحرية*، وأعربت عن تقديرها للمنظمة الهيدروغرافية الدولية والاتحاد الدولي للمساحين على مساهمتهما بورقات معلومات أساسية تتناول هذا الموضوع؛

(b) Stressed the critical importance of improved integration of land and marine geospatial information in order to facilitate planning and management, especially of coastal areas and waters in a seamless, interoperable and holistic way, and encouraged relevant national institutions to work together on these issues;
(ب) شددت على الأهمية الحاسمة لتكامل المعلومات الجغرافية المكانية البرية والبحرية من أجل تسهيل التخطيط والإدارة، وخاصة في المناطق والمياه الساحلية، على نحو سلس قابل للتنفيذ المشترك وكلي، وشجعت المؤسسات الوطنية المختصة على العمل على معالجة هذه المساءل معاً؛

It had before it the report of the Secretariat, prepared in collaboration with the International Hydrographic Organization and the International Federation of Surveys on critical issues relating to the integration of land and marine geospatial information.* The Director of the Statistics Division and the observer for the International Hydrographic Organization made introductory statements.
