Draft decisions on the questions of maintenance of the interim arrangements referred to in article 21, paragraph 3, of the Convention, and on arrangements between the Conference of the Parties and an operating entity or entities of the financial mechanism were also referred by the Committee to the Conference for adoption.
١٧ - كما أحالت اللجنة إلى المؤتمر لاعتماده مشروع مقررين بشأن مسألة اﻹبقاء على الترتيبات المؤقتة الواردة في الفقرة ٣ من المادة ٢١ من الاتفاقية، وبشأن الترتيبات القائمة بين مؤتمر اﻷطراف والكيان التشغيلي أو الكيانات التشغيلية لﻵلية المالية.

On the recommendation of Working Group II, the Committee, at its 7th plenary meeting on 2 September, decided to defer consideration of the maintenance of the interim arrangements referred to in Article 21, para. 3, to its eleventh session.

At its 1st plenary meeting, on 28 March, the Conference agreed that action on the decision on maintenance of the interim arrangements referred to in Article 21, paragraph 3, of the Convention, recommended by the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee in its recommendation 9, should be taken under agenda item 6(c).
٦٧- اتفق المؤتمر، في جلسته العامة اﻷولى المعقودة في ٨٢ آذار/مارس، على أن اﻹجراءات المتصلة بالمقرر الذي أوصت به لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية في توصيتها ٩، بشأن اﻹبقاء على الترتيبات المؤقتة المشار إليها في الفقرة ٣ من المادة ١٢ من الاتفاقية، ينبغي أن تتخذ في إطار البند ٦)ج( من جدول اﻷعمال.

At its 10th plenary meeting, on 7 April, the Conference of the Parties adopted, under agenda item 6(c), decision 9/CP.1 on maintenance of the interim arrangements referred to in Article 21, paragraph 3, of the Convention, the text of which is contained in Part Two, section I, of this report.
٧٧- وفي الجلسة العامة العاشرة المعقودة في ٧ نيسان/أبريل، اعتمد مؤتمر اﻷطراف، في إطار البند ٦)ج( من جدول اﻷعمال، المقرر ٩/م أ-١ بشأن اﻹبقاء على الترتيبات المؤقتة المشار إليها في الفقرة ٣ من المادة ١٢ من الاتفاقية.

18. The Committee adopted a draft decision (A/AC.241/L.33) entitled " maintenance of the interim arrangements to support the Convention beyond the first Conference of the Parties " , as orally revised by the Chairman (see appendix II, decision 9/4).
