7. In its resolution 51/234 of 13 June 1997, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to continue his efforts to recover the overpayment of mission subsistence allowance and to report to it at its fifty-second session on the results of action taken for its recovery, including measures taken with respect to those responsible for the overpayment.

10. The Committee, however, regrets that the report providing updated information on developments relating to the issue of overpayment of mission subsistence allowance and compensatory time off, including measures taken with respect to those responsible for the overpayment on the basis of the conclusion of the inquiry, as requested in paragraph 18 of Assembly resolution 53/238, is not available.
١٠ - بيد أن اللجنة تأسف لعدم توافر التقرير الذي يقدم معلومات جديدة عن التطورات المتصلة بمسألة المدفوعات الزائدة في بدل اﻹقامة المقرر للبعثة والوقت التعويضي، بما في ذلك التدابير المتخذة فيما يتعلق بالمسؤولين عن الزيادة في المدفوعات، على أساس ما ينتهي إليه التحقيق، على النحو المطلوب في الفقرة ١٨ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٢/٢٣٨.
