4. Furthermore, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States on ways and means of promoting the role of women in disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control and to report to the General Assembly at its sixty-eighth session on the implementation of resolution 67/48.

12- وبغية تعزيز الحوار مع أفقر الدول الأعضاء بشأن سبل ووسائل معالجة القضايا المحدّدة الخاصة بالتخفيف من الفقر والتجارة والبيئة، سوف يُنظّم اجتماع وزاري خاص بأقل البلدان نموا خلال دورة المؤتمر العام في عام 2007، بالتعاون في العمل مع وكالات أخرى.

In that connection the view was expressed that the Committee could request the Working Group to focus on gathering information from Member States on ways and means of improving the reach and applicability of the existing Principles in order to further the objectives of the Committee and enhance its discussions.

The two other reports before this Committee in documents A/AC.198/1994/2 and A/AC.198/1994/8 concern, respectively, the activities of the Joint United Nations Information Committee over the past year and the status of observations and suggestions by Member States on ways and means of furthering the development of communications infrastructures and capabilities in developing countries.
ويتعلق التقريران اﻵخران المعروضان على هــــذه اللجنــــة فـــي الوثيقتيـــن A/AC.198/1994/2 و A/AC.198/1994/8 على التوالي، بأنشطة لجنة اﻹعلام المشتركة لﻷمم المتحدة، على مدى السنة السابقة، وحالة الملاحظات والمقترحات المقدمة من الدول اﻷعضاء بشأن الطرق والوسائل الكفيلة بتعزيز تنمية قدرات وهياكل الاتصالات اﻷساسية في البلدان النامية.
