14. The proposed amendment to article 8 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, adopted at the fourteenth meeting of States parties on 15 January 1992, called for members of the Committee established under the Convention to receive, with the approval of the General Assembly, emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as the Assembly might decide.
