3. The activities undertaken by the Military forces of a State in the exercise of their official duties, inasmuch as they are governed by other rules of international law, are not governed by this Convention.
3 - لا تسري هذه الاتفاقية على الأنشطة التي تضطلع بها القوات المسلحة لدولة ما بصدد ممارسة واجباتها الرسمية، ما دامت تنظم هذه الأنشطة قواعد أخرى من القانون الدولي.

It was pointed out that in reality, Military forces of a State were subject to a code of conduct separate from that applicable to civilians, which included trial by court martial; moreover, when such forces were engaged in peacekeeping operations, different rules of engagement applied.

3. The activities undertaken by the Military forces of a State in the exercise of their official duties, inasmuch as they are in conformity with international law, are not governed by this Convention.
3 - لا تسري هذه الاتفاقية على الأنشطة التي تضطلع بها القوات المسلحة لدولة ما بصدد ممارسة واجباتها الرسمية، ما دامت تلك الأنشطة مطابقة للقانون الدولي.

This Convention shall not apply to the delivery, placement, discharge or detonation of an explosive device, incendiary device or lethal device by the Military forces of a State.
لا تسري هذه الاتفاقية على قيام القوات العسكرية لدولة ما بتسليم أو وضع أو إطلاق أو تفجير قنبلة أو جهاز متفجر أو حارق أو مميت.

The scope of " Military forces of a State " in paragraph 3 was not coterminous with " activities of armed forces during an armed conflict " in paragraph 2.
ولا يماثل نطاق عبارة ' ' القوات العسكرية لدولة ما`` الواردة في الفقرة 3 نطاق عبارة ' ' أنشطة القوات المسلحة خلال نزاع مسلح`` الواردة في الفقرة 2.
