In this regard, we reaffirm the Non-Aligned Movement formula for the enlargement of the Council, as well as the Movement's position regarding the importance of enhancing the transparency of the Security Council through the improvement of its working methods and decision-making process, including the important issue of the veto.

9 - واستطرد قائلاً إن موقف الحركة بالنسبة لمسألة بورتوريكو لا يزال دون تغيير، وجرى تحديده مؤخراً في الاجتماع الوزاري لعام 2009 لمكتب التنسيق التابع لها الذي عُقد في كوبا وفي مؤتمر القمة الخامس عشر لرؤساء الدول والحكومات الذي عُقد في مصر مؤخراً في هذه السنة.

During the meeting, SLA-AW participants confirmed the Movement's position that political negotiations with the Government could not take place until preconditions were met, including disarmament of the pro-Government militias, removal of new settlers from the land of the internally displaced persons and a cessation of offensive military actions.

The Ministers reaffirmed the guiding principles regarding UN peacekeeping operations (UNPKOs) adopted at the XI Ministerial Conference of NAM held in Cairo in 1994, and reiterated the Movement's position on UNPKOs adopted by the XII Summit held in Durban in 1998, and which have been further reiterated at the XIII Summit held in Kuala Lumpur in 2003.
