7. Also welcomes the greater and valuable sharing of concrete national experiences at the ninth Workshop on the implementation of all four areas of the Framework of Regional Technical Cooperation Programme in Asia and the Pacific;

10. In Bangkok (2001) participants at the ninth Workshop reviewed the evaluation report of Professor Vitit Muntarbhorn on the implementation by OHCHR of activities under the Tehran Framework.
10- واستعرض المشاركون في حلقة العمل التاسعة المعقودة في بانكوك (2001) تقرير التقييم الذي أعده البروفيسور فيتيت مونتاربهورن عن تنفيذ المفوضية للأنشطة المشمولة بإطار طهران.

Welcoming the convening of the ninth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian-Pacific Region, held in Bangkok from 28 February to 2 March 2001,

42. In accordance with Commission on Human Rights resolution 2000/74, the ninth Workshop for the Asian and Pacific region is to be organized in Bangkok from 28 February to 2 March 2001.
42- ووفقاً لقرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان 2000/74، ستعقد حلقة العمل التاسعة لمنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ في بانكوك في الفترة من 28 شباط/فبراير إلى 2 آذار/مارس 2001.

The ninth Workshop on International Law organized by the Mexican Government in August 2002 had been devoted to the theme of human rights and international humanitarian law.

6. Welcomes the indepth discussions held during the ninth Workshop reviewing developments in the Asian and Pacific region over the past year in the four priority areas under the Framework of Regional Technical Cooperation Programme in Asia and the Pacific;
6- ترحب بالمناقشات المتعمقة التي دارت أثناء حلقة العمل التاسعة التي قامت باستعراض التطورات في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ خلال العام الماضي في المجالات الأربعة ذات الأولوية التي حددها إطار برنامج التعاون التقني الإقليمي في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ؛

11. Takes note of the discussions at the ninth Workshop and at the regional intersessional workshops on, inter alia, all the obstacles to the effective realization of economic, social and cultural rights and the right to development and the need for international cooperation to support the efforts of countries to overcome them;
11- تحيط علماً بما جرى في حلقة العمل التاسعة وحلقات العمل الإقليمية التي عقدت بين دورات اللجنة من مناقشات بشأن جملة أمور، منها كل ما يعترض سبيل الإعمال الفعال للحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية والحق في التنمية من عقبات، وضرورة التعاون الدولي دعماً لجهود البلدان في سبيل تخطي تلك العقبات؛

In its resolution 2000/74, the Commission requested the SecretaryGeneral to submit to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session a report containing the conclusions of the ninth Workshop on Regional Arrangements for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian and Pacific Region and information on the progress achieved in the implementation of that resolution.

1. In its resolution 2000/74, the Commission on Human Rights requested the SecretaryGeneral to submit to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session a report containing the conclusions of the ninth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian and Pacific Region and information on the progress achieved in implementing the resolution.
1- طلبت لجنة حقوق الإنسان في قرارها 2000/74 إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إليها في دورتها السابعة والخمسين تقريراً يتضمن استنتاجات حلقة العمل التاسعة المعنية بالتعاون الإقليمي لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ ومعلومات عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ هذا القرار.

10. The draft handbook on national human rights action plans was distributed among participants at the ninth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian and Pacific Region, held in Bangkok from 2 February to 23 March 2000.
10- تم توزيع مشروع الدليل عن خطط العمل الوطنية في مجال حقوق الإنسان على المشاركين في حلقة العمل التاسعة عن التعاون الإقليمي لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، التي عُقدت في بانكوك، خلال الفترة من 2 شباط/فبراير إلى 23 آذار/مارس 2000.

15. Call upon the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to report on progress achieved in the implementation of technical cooperation in the Asian and Pacific region in accordance with the Framework for Regional Technical Cooperation to the ninth Workshop.
15- يطلبون إلى المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تقدم إلى حلقة العمل التاسعة تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز في تحقيق التعاون التقني في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ وفقا لإطار التعاون التقني الإقليمي لهذه المنطقة.

16. Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the Commission at its fifty-seventh session a report containing the conclusions of the ninth Workshop on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Asian and Pacific Region and information on the progress achieved in the implementation of the present resolution;

Also takes note of the diversity of views expressed at the ninth Workshop on possible regional or subregional modalities of cooperation for the promotion and protection of human rights in the Asian and Pacific region as part of an inclusive, step-by-step, practical and buildingblocks approach, as well as of the evaluation undertaken on the implementation of the Framework of Regional Technical Cooperation Programme in Asia and the Pacific;
