Ms. Sangchan Limjirakan (Thailand), Chair of the CGE, made introductory remarks by welcoming the members to the meeting, expressing gratitude to the Government of Chile for hosting the meeting and stressing the importance of the meeting in the implementation of the mandate of the CGE to assist non-Annex I Parties in the preparation of their national communications.
