11- وينص العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية في الفقرة 2 من المادة 1 فيه على أن لجميع الناس الحق في التصرف بحرية في ثرواتهم ومواردهم الطبيعية " دونما إخلال بأية التزامات منبثقة عن مقتضيات التعاون الاقتصادي الدولي القائم على مبدأ المنفعة المتبادلة وعن القانون الدولي " .

The same wording is not found in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, aside from article 1, which is common to both covenants and refers to the free disposal of natural resources " without prejudice to any obligations arising out of international economic cooperation " .
ولا ترِد مثل هذه الصيَغ في العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، عدا في نص المادة الأولى الواردة في العهدين، التي تقصد حرية التصرف في الموارد الطبيعية " دونما إخلال بأية التزامات منبثقة عن مقتضيات التعاون الاقتصادي الدولي القائم على مبدأ المنفعة المتبادلة وعن القانون الدولي " .

16. Article 1.2 of the Covenant states that " [a]ll peoples may, for their own ends, freely dispose of their natural wealth and resources without prejudice to any obligations arising out of international economic cooperation ... " .
تقرير المصير 16- تنص المادة 1-2 من العهد على أن " لجميع الشعوب، سعيا إلى تحقيق أهدافها الخاصة، التصرف الحر بثرواتها ومواردها الطبيعية دونما إخلال بأية التزامات منبثقة عن مقتضيات التعاون الاقتصادي الدولي... " .

38- تنص المادة 1(2) من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية، التي تتطرق إلى مسألة الحقوق المتعلقة بالأرض والموارد الوطنية، على ما يلي: " لجميع الشعوب، سعياً وراء أهدافها الخاصة، أن تتصرف بثرواتها ومواردها الطبيعية بحرية دونما إخلال بأية التزامات منبثقة عن مقتضيات التعاون الاقتصادي الدولي القائم على مبدأ المنفعة المتبادلة وعن القانون الدولي.
