In any case, what is important for a secured creditor is that rejection of a security agreement does not terminate or otherwise impair the secured obligations already incurred or extinguish the security right and that financial contracts and loan commitments are frequently excepted from the scope of insolvency laws governing the treatment of contracts more generally (see Insolvency Guide, part two, chap. II, paras. 208-215).
