In its resolution 67/145 on trafficking in women and girls, the General Assembly stressed the need for the systematic collection of sex- and age-disaggregated data and comprehensive studies at both the national and the international levels and the development of common methodologies and internationally defined indicators to make it possible to develop relevant and comparable figures.
