The workshop discussed the harmonization of legislative frameworks to enable international and interregional cooperation in criminal matters, including extradition, mutual legal assistance, transfer of prisoners, international cooperation for purposes of confiscation of proceeds of crime, prevention of money-laundering, asset forfeiture and asset recovery.
