8. In order for Member States to duly consider issues and take informed decisions, it was crucial for the established time limits for the issuance of documents in all six official languages to be met.

In its resolution 53/208 B on the pattern of conferences and subsequent resolutions and decisions thereon, the latest of which was resolution 63/248, the General Assembly reiterated with concern its request to the Secretary-General to ensure that the rules concerning the simultaneous distribution of documents in all six official languages are strictly respected.
4 - وكررت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 53/208 باء المتعلق بخطة المؤتمرات وقراراتها ومقرراتها اللاحقة في ذلك الشأن، وآخرها القرار 63/248، مع القلق طلبها إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل التقيد الصارم بالقواعد المتصلة بتزامن توزيع الوثائق بجميع اللغات الرسمية الست.

١ - تلاحظ ما تبذله دوائر الترجمة التحريرية من جهود بغية تحسين نوعية ترجمة الوثائق في جميع اللغات الرسمية الست للمنظمة، وتشجع تلك الدوائر على أن تواصل بذل كل جهد ممكن لذلك الغرض وأن تستمر في تقديم تقارير إلى لجنة المؤتمرات عن الجهود اﻹضافية المبذولة في هذا الصدد؛

111. In paragraph 1 of resolution 51/211 D of 18 December 1996, the General Assembly noted the efforts made by the translation services to improve the quality of translation of documents in all six official languages of the United Nations, and encouraged those services to continue to spare no effort to that end and to continue to report to the Committee on Conferences on additional efforts made in that regard.
١١١ - في الفقرة ١ من القرار ٥١/٢١١ دال المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٦، لاحظت الجمعية العامة ما تبذله دوائر الترجمة التحريرية من جهود بغية تحسين نوعية ترجمة الوثائق بجميع اللغات الرسمية الست لﻷمم المتحدة، وشجعت تلك الدوائر على أن تواصل بذل كل جهد ممكن لذلك الغرض وأن تستمر في تقديم تقارير إلى لجنة المؤتمرات عن الجهود اﻹضافية المبذولة في هذا الصدد.
