The General Assembly urged the international community to increase assistance to Central American countries and also appealed to the United Nations system as a whole to cooperate in executing the Special Plan of Economic Cooperation for Central America.
وحثت الجمعية العامة المجتمع الدولي على زيادة مساعداته لبلدان أمريكا الوسطى، كما ناشدت منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ككل بأن تتعاون في تنفيذ الخطة الخاصة للتعاون الاقتصادي من أجل أمريكا الوسطى.

It furthermore reiterated the importance the Special Plan of Economic Cooperation for Central America had for the implementation of that resolution, in particular because it provided the underpinning for the execution of the Central American Economic Plan of Action.
