In response to the false claims of infringements of international air traffic regulations and violations of national airspace, I wish, once again, to reiterate that flights within the sovereign airspace of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus take place with the full knowledge and consent of the relevant authorities of the State, over which the Greek Cypriot administration in South Cyprus has no jurisdiction or right of say whatsoever.
وردا على الادعاءات الباطلة بانتهاك أنظمة المرور الجوي الدولية وانتهاك المجال الجوي الوطني، أود، مرة أخرى، أن أكرر التأكيد على أن الرحلات الجوية داخل المجال الجوي المشمول بسيادة الجمهورية التركية لشمال قبرص تجري بمعرفة وموافقة تامتين للسلطات المختصة في الدولة، والتي ليس للإدارة القبرصية التركية أي اختصاص عليها أو دخل فيها.

On that day, six Turkish military aircraft escorting a VIP plane, which was carrying the Turkish President, entered the northern Nicosia flight information region in violation of international air traffic regulations and of the national airspace of the Republic of Cyprus.
ففي ذلك اليوم، دخلت ست طائرات عسكرية تركية تحرس طائرة شخصيات بارزة تقل الرئيس التركي، منطقة معلومات الطيران لنيقوسيا، انتهاكا لنظم الحركة الجوية الدولية والمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص.

In addition to the above-mentioned violations, and on that same day, four F-4, mentioned in my previous letter of 26 October 1998, entered once more the Nicosia flight information region, in violation of international air traffic regulations before exiting in a south-easterly direction.
وباﻹضافة إلى الانتهاكات المذكورة أعلاه، وفي نفس اليوم، دخلت أربع طائرات من طراز 4-F، ذُكرت في رسالتي السابقة المؤرخة ٢٦ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٨، نيقوسيا مرة أخرى، منتهكة اﻷنظمة الدولية لحركة الطيران الجوية قبل الخروج في اتجاه الجنوب الشرقي.
