Today we celebrate the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
نحتفل اليوم بالذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

The report draws on contributions to the fourth interactive dialogue on Harmony with Nature, held on 22 April 2014, during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day.
ويستند التقرير إلى المساهمات التي قُدمت في جلسة التحاور التفاعلي الرابعة بشأن الانسجام مع الطبيعة، المعقودة في 22 نيسان/أبريل 2014 خلال الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض.

1. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 68/216 on " Harmony with Nature " , during its sixty-eighth session the President of the General Assembly convened a fourth interactive dialogue on the subject during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day, on 22 April 2014, with the participation of Member States, United Nations organizations, independent experts, major groups and other stakeholders.
1 - عملاً بقرار الجمعية العامة 68/216 بشأن " الانسجام مع الطبيعة " ، عقد رئيس الجمعية العامة، في دورتها الثامنة والستين، جلسة التحاور التفاعلي الرابعة في الموضوع خلال الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمّنا الأرض في 22 نيسان/أبريل 2014، وذلك بمشاركة الدول الأعضاء ومنظمات الأمم المتحدة والخبراء المستقلين والمجموعات الرئيسية وغيرهم من الجهات المعنية.

I believe the Assembly's adoption of International Mother Earth Day has special significance at this point in our human odyssey.
وأعتقد أن اتخاذ الجمعية للقرار المتعلق باليوم الدولي لأمِّنا الأرض يكتسي أهمية خاصة في هذه المرحلة من مسيرة البشرية.

The celebration of International Mother Earth Day will further encourage our moral and legal commitment to respect nature and ensure environmental sustainability.

This first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day finds us still perplexed at the devastating effects of the earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Indonesia and China and the rains and avalanches in Brazil.
تحل الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض ونحن لا نزال نشعر بالجزع من الآثار المدمرة للزلازل في هايتي وشيلي وإندونيسيا والصين والأمطار والانهيارات الأرضية في البرازيل.

The commemoration of International Mother Earth Day is therefore timely and relevant as we seek to mitigate such possible outcomes, particularly through a legally binding agreement.
ومن ثم فإن الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض جاء في الوقت المناسب وهو وثيق الصلة بسعينا إلى التخفيف من النتائج الممكنة، لا سيما من خلال اتفاق ملزم قانونا.

The President (spoke in Arabic): In accordance with decision 64/556 of 15 April 2010, the General Assembly will now hold a special meeting on the occasion of the first anniversary of International Mother Earth Day.
الرئيس: وفقا لمقرر الجمعية العامة 556/64 المؤرخ 15 نيسان/أبريل 2010، تعقد الجمعية العامة اجتماعا استثنائيا بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية الأولى لليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض.

3. Requests the Secretary-General to establish a trust fund for the participation of independent experts in the interactive dialogue to be held at the plenary meetings to be convened during the commemoration of International Mother Earth Day on 23 April 2012, and invites Member States and other relevant stakeholders to consider contributing to this fund;
3 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن ينشئ صندوقا استئمانيا من أجل مشاركة الخبراء المستقلين في الحوار التفاعلي المزمع إجراؤه في الجلستين العامتين المقرر عقدها أثناء الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض في 23 نيسان/أبريل 2012، وتدعو الدول الأعضاء وغيرها من الجهات المعنية إلى النظر في المساهمة في هذا الصندوق؛

2. Invites all Member States, the organizations of the United Nations system, international, regional and subregional organizations, civil society, nongovernmental organizations and relevant stakeholders to observe and raise awareness of International Mother Earth Day, as appropriate;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء ومؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية ودون الإقليمية والمجتمع المدني والمنظمات غير الحكومية وأصحاب المصلحة المعنيين إلى الاحتفال باليوم الدولي لأمنا الأرض والتوعية به على النحو المناسب؛

But 60 years ago they were recognized, and now we are convinced that, with today's declaration of International Mother Earth Day, planet Earth, Mother Earth, has also won her rights.
ولكن قبل ستين عاما اعتُرف بحقوق الإنسان، ونحن الآن مقتنعون بأن أمِّنا الأرض قد حصلت على حقوقها أيضا بإعلان اليوم الدولي لأمِّنا الأرض .
