وترى حكومة النمسا، نظرا لعدم وجود إيضاحات إضافية، أن هذا الاعتراض يثير الشكوك حول مدى التزام موريتانيا بالاتفاقية عند الانضمام إليها كطرف فيها، حيث أنه يشير إلى مضمون الشريعة الإسلامية والتشريعات الوطنية الموجودة في موريتانيا.

The Government of Austria further considers that, in the absence of further clarification, the reservation to articles 2 and 16, which does not clearly specify the extent of Bahrain's derogation from the provisions in question, raises doubts as to the degree of commitment assumed by Bahrain in becoming a party to the Convention since it refers to the contents of Islamic Shariah.
كما ترى حكومة النمسا، أنه في غياب المزيد من الإيضاح، لا يحدد التحفظ على المادتين 2 و 16 بوضوح مدى تحلل البحرين من الأحكام المشار إليها مما يثير الشكوك في درجة الالتزام الذي قطعته البحرين عندما أصبحت طرفا في الاتفاقية نظرا لأنها تشير إلى أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية.

The Government of Austria further considers that, in the absence of further clarification, the reservation to article 16, paragraph 2, which refers to the contents of Islamic Shariah, does not clearly specify the extent of the reservation and therefore raises doubts as to the degree of commitment assumed by the Syrian Arab Republic in becoming a party to the Convention.
وترى حكومة النمسا أيضا أنه في غياب المزيد من الإيضاح، فإن التحفظ على الفقرة 2 من المادة 16، الذي يشير إلى أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية لا يحدد بوضوح مدى التحفظ وبالتالي يثير الشكوك فيما يتعلق بمدى الالتزام الذي أخذته على عاتقها للجمهورية العربية السورية عندما أصبحت طرفا في الاتفاقية.

The Syrian Arab Republic has reservations on the provisions of the Convention which are not in conformity with the legislation of the Syrian Arab Republic and with the principles of Islamic Shariah, in particular the content of article 14 related to the right of the child to freedom of religion, and articles 2 and 21 concerning adoption.
