The Joint Council of the European Union and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, at its twentieth session, held in Luxembourg on 14 June 2010, expressed its support for United Nations efforts aimed at the return of Kuwaiti prisoners and nationals of other countries or their remains, as well as Kuwaiti property, including the country's national archives.
