The Council would recommend that the Commission consider the desirability of formulating United Nations standards in the field of mediation and restorative justice and would request the Secretary-General to undertake activities to assist Member States in developing policies on mediation and restorative justice and to facilitate the exchange of experience in that field.

٩ - يطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يضطلع ، ضمن حدود الموارد الموجودة أو بموارد خارجة عن الميزانية ، بأنشطة لمساعدة الدول اﻷعضاء على صوغ سياسات خاصة بالوساطة والعدالة التصالحية ، وأن ييسر تبادل الخبرات على الصعيدين الاقليمي والدولي بشأن مسائل الوساطة والعدالة التصالحية ، بما في ذلك تعميم أفضل الممارسات ؛
