There was a general feeling that even within the framework of existing categories, the involvement of non-governmental organizations in the activities of the United Nations should be improved.

1. Rule 77 of the rules of procedure of the Trade and Development Board provides for the participation of non-governmental organizations in the activities of UNCTAD.

The secretariat has prepared a note Non-governmental organizations participating in the activities of UNCTAD, embodying the results of its review of the arrangements for the participation of non-governmental organizations in the activities of UNCTAD.
وقد أعدت اﻷمانة مذكرة عنوانها المنظمات غير الحكومية المشاركة في أنشطة اﻷونكتاد، تتضمن نتائج استعراضها للترتيبات الموضوعة لمشاركة المنظمات غير الحكومية في أنشطة اﻷونكتاد.

1. Rule 77 of the rules of procedure of the Trade and Development Board provides for the participation of non-governmental organizations in the activities of UNCTAD.
١- تنص المادة ٧٧ من النظام الداخلي لمجلس التجارة والتنمية على مشاركة المنظمات غير الحكومية في أنشطة اﻷونكتاد.
