(c) Underline the essential role of IAEA in assisting developing States parties in engaging in the peaceful applications of nuclear energy and nuclear techniques, including through the further development of instruments, standards and codes of conduct to ensure human safety and environmental protection.
(ج) ويؤكد الدور الأساسي الذي تضطلع به الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في مساعدة الدول الأطراف النامية على المشاركة في التطبيقات السلمية للطاقة النووية والتقنيات النووية بوسائل تشمل مواصلة تطوير صكوك ومعايير ومدونات قواعد سلوك لكفالة سلامة البشر وحماية البيئة.

وتذّكر الدول الأطراف بأن المؤتمر الاستعراضي لعام 2000 أقر بفوائد التطبيقات السلمية للطاقة النووية والتقنيات النووية في الميادين المشار إليها في المادتين الثانية والثالثة من النظام الأساسي للوكالة، وبمساهمتها في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في البلدان النامية ودورها عموما في تحسين رفاه شعوب العالم ونوعية معيشتها.

The Conference recognizes the benefits of the peaceful applications of nuclear energy and nuclear techniques in the fields of, inter alia, food, agriculture, human health, industry, environment and water resource management and its contribution to achieving sustainable development in developing countries and for generally improving the well-being and the quality of life of the peoples of the world.
