On the international plane, political organs as well as human rights and judicial bodies have, in the words of the Security Council, affirmed the responsibility of States " to end impunity and to prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity and serious violations of humanitarian law " .
31- وعلى الصعيد الدولي، أكدت الهيئات السياسية وهيئات حقوق الإنسان والهيئات القضائية، وفقاً لما جاء على لسان مجلس الأمن، مسؤولية الدول " عن وضع حد للإفلات من العقاب وملاحقة المسؤولين عن الإبادة الجماعية والجرائم المرتكبة بحق الإنسانية والانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الإنساني " (33).

In this regard, it is important to recall Security Council resolution 1612 (2005) and all previous resolutions on children and armed conflict, in which the Council stresses the responsibilities of States to end impunity and to prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and other egregious crimes perpetrated against children.
