The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Head of MONUSCO, Roger Meece, gave a briefing on the security situation in North Kivu, the humanitarian situation of the internally displaced persons and ongoing efforts to enhance the protection of civilians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
