٨٤٢- وتنص المادة ٣ من دستور جزر اﻷنتيل الهولندية على: " أن لجميع الموجودين على أراضي جزر اﻷنتيل الهولندية حقا متساويا في حماية أشخاصهم وممتلكاتهم " .

With regard to paragraph 1 it should be noted that justice is pronounced in the name of the Queen in the Netherlands Antilles, pursuant to article 97 of the Constitution of the Netherlands Antilles. This means that under the articles in part 2 of the Constitution of the Netherlands Antilles the President and the members of the Court of Justice are appointed and dismissed by the Queen.

232. The principle of equality is the foundation of the legal order, and is enshrined in article 3 of the Constitution of the Netherlands Antilles, which provides as follows: " All who are in the territory of the Netherlands Antilles have an equal right to protection of their person and goods. "
