Based on these considerations, we urge all the parties involved in the conflict in Kosovo, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, to revert to and exhaust all the peaceful means available under international law to stop the armed conflict that has been waged in recent weeks in that part of the European continent.
وبالاستنـاد إلى هــذه الاعتبـارات، نحــض جميــع اﻷطــراف المعنيـة بنـزاع كوسوفـو بجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية، على استنفاد واستعادة جميع السبل السلمية التي يوفرها القانون الدولي بغية وقف النزاع المسلح الذي انتشر في اﻷسابيع اﻷخيرة في هذا الجزء من القارة اﻷوروبية.

Each enlargement step constitutes fulfilment for the Union itself, and that contributes to the completion of an historical process that reverses the age-old conflict and the fragmentation of the European continent.
فكل خطوة لتوسيع الاتحاد تمثل تعزيزا للاتحاد نفسه وتسهم في تكملة عملية تاريخية تعكس اتجاه الصراعات اﻷزلية في القارة اﻷوروبية وتشتتها.
