The continued post-conflict economic development of Afghanistan is on the agenda of the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan, to be held next spring in Dushanbe.

I kindly request that this letter and the Perth Declaration of the Fifth Regional Interfaith Dialogue be circulated as an official document of the General Assembly under agenda item 49.
وأرجو ممتناً تعميم هذه الرسالة وإعلان بيرث الصادر عن الحوار الإقليمي الخامس بين الأديان كوثيقة رسمية للجمعية العامة في إطار البند 49 من جدول الأعمال.

In this regard, financial support was provided to the fourth regional meeting, while both technical and financial support were made available for the organization of the Fifth Regional meeting and to prepare documents on the integrated management of local governments, and on agroforestry.

Given that the theme of transport and sustainable development will be debated by the Commission on Sustainable Development at its nineteenth session, participants hoped that the outcome of the Fifth Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum in Asia would be considered by the Commission as one of the important inputs from the region in regards to the transport sector.
وبالنظر إلى أن لجنة التنمية المستدامة ستناقش موضوع النقل والتنمية المستدامة في دورتها التاسعة عشرة، فقد أمِل المشاركون أن تنظر اللجنة في الوثيقة الختامية للمنتدى الإقليمي الخامس للنقل المستدام بيئياً في آسيا بوصفه أحد الإسهامات الهامة المقدمة من المنطقة في ما يتعلق بقطاع النقل.

2. The evaluation, conducted in 2012, is intended to feed directly into the development of the Fifth Regional programme document for the Arab States, 2014-2017.

We, the participants of the Fifth Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum in Asia express our intent to voluntarily develop and realize integrated and sustainable transport policy options, programmes and projects that will help to realize the following environmentally sustainable transport goals and objectives by the year 2020 in the Asian region (EST 20):

In this regard, the outcomes of the Fifth Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum in Asia, held in Bangkok, from 23 to 25 August 2010, and the intersessional senior expert group meeting on sustainable development of lithium resources in Latin America, held in Santiago, on 10 and 11 November 2010, are particularly useful.

He met the Presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Tajikistan in the margins of the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan and attended the Ministerial Conference of the Central Asia Border Security Initiative in Vienna on 16 and 17 April, which focused on border security in the fight against trafficking, organized crime and irregular migration.
وقد اجتمع برئيسي جمهورية إيران الإسلامية وطاجيكستان على هامش مؤتمر التعاون الاقتصادي الإقليمي الخامس بشأن أفغانستان وحضر المؤتمر الوزاري لمبادرة أمن الحدود في آسيا الوسطى المعقود في فيينا في 16 و 17 نيسان/أبريل، الذي ركز على مسألة أمن الحدود في مجال مكافحة التهريب، والجريمة المنظمة والهجرة غير القانونية.

They commended the outcome of the Fifth Regional Consultation on the Impact of Armed Conflict on Children in Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Colombia in April 1996, and looked forward to the drafting of an inter-American declaration on the rights of the child.
