26. The provisions of the Islamic Shariah are likewise strict in this regard since they prohibit the killing of a human being for any reason whatsoever and prescribe death as the penalty for anyone who kills an innocent person.
26- ولا تتهاون أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية أيضاً، فقد حرمت قتل النفس الإنسانية مهما كانت الأسباب، وقد جعلت الموت عقاباً لمن يقتل نفساً بريئة.

35. Since Jordan applies the system of kafalah, in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic Shariah, with a view to safeguarding the best interests of the child, the reservation concerning article 21 should be reviewed.
