Decision 2/CP.7 of the Marrakesh Accords is directed at building the capacities of Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (non-Annex I Parties).

21. The European Union welcomed the adoption of the Marrakesh Accords, containing mechanisms and procedures for compliance that would allow effective implementation of the Kyoto Protocol, including flexible mechanisms.
21 - وأضافت أن الاتحاد الأوروبي يرحب باعتماد اتفاقات مراكش التي تتضمن آليات وإجراءات للامتثال من شأنها أن تسمح بالتنفيذ الفعال لبروتوكول كيوتو، بما فيها من آليات مرنة.

5. The Conference welcomed progress on the prompt start of the clean development mechanism which had been launched as part of the Marrakesh Accords adopted in 2001.

At the eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the Framework Convention on Climate Change, scheduled to meet in New Delhi, representatives of the small island States intended to convey their deep concern and their interest in ensuring the full implementation of the Marrakesh Accords without new loopholes.

62. In 2001, with the adoption of the Marrakesh Accords, early JI activities began to operate on a bilateral basis between Annex I Parties.
62- اقترن اعتماد اتفاقات مراكش() في عام 2001، ببدء تفعيل أنشطة التنفيذ المشترك على أساس ثنائي بين الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول.

The objective of the LEG, established as part of the Marrakesh Accords at COP 7, is to provide technical guidance and advice to least developed countries (LDCs) on the preparation and on the implementation strategy of national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs).
9- وغرض فريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً، والذي أُنشئ كجزء من اتفاقات مراكش في الدورة السابعة لمؤتمر الأطراف()، هو تقديم التوجيه والمشورة التقنيين إلى أقل البلدان نمواً فيما يتعلق بإعداد استراتيجية تنفيذ برامج العمل الوطنية للتكيف.

With the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol in February 2005 and the adoption of the Marrakesh Accords at COP/MOP 1 in November 2005, JI became a legally valid mechanism.
9- مع بدء سريان بروتوكول كيوتو في شباط/فبراير 2005 واعتماد اتفاقات مراكش خلال الدورة الأولى لمؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو المنعقد في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005، أصبح التنفيذ المشترك آلية ذات صفة قانونية.

The Cooperative Mechanisms (COOP) Programme supported the efforts of Parties relating to the implementation of the part of the Marrakesh Accords which deals with the mechanisms under the Kyoto Protocol (decisions 15/CP.7 - 19/CP.7, further specified through decisions 21/CP.8 and 24/CP.8).
58- قدم برنامج الآليات التعاونية دعماً للجهود التي تبذلها الأطراف فيما يتصل بتنفيذ ذلك الجزء من اتفاقات مراكش الذي يتناول مسألة الآليات في إطار بروتوكول كيوتو (المقررات من 15/م أ-7 إلى 19/م أ-7، والتي تم تناولها على نحو أكثر تحديداً من خلال المقررين 21/م أ-8 و24/م أ-8).

12. The adoption of the Marrakesh Accords, together with the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation and the Delhi Ministerial Declaration on Climate Change and Sustainable Development, should greatly help the Kyoto Protocol to fulfil its major task of securing a 5 per cent cut in greenhouse gas emissions by developed countries over the next decade.
12 - وأضاف أن اعتماد اتفاقات مراكش وخطة التنفيذ الصادرة عن قمة جوهانسبرغ والإعلان الوزاري بشأن تغيُّر المناخ والتنمية المستدامة الصادر في دلهي ينبغي أن تساعد كثيراً في تنفيذ بروتوكول كيوتو وتحقيق مهمته الكبيرة في تقليل انبعاثات غاز الدفيئة بنسبة 5 في المائة في البلدان المتقدمة النمو على مدى العقد القادم.
