I. ACTIVITIES OF THE OFFICE OF THE HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION of the right to development as CONTAINED IN HER MANDATE

To monitor and review progress made in the promotion and implementation of the right to development as elaborated in the Declaration on the Right to Development, at the national and international levels, providing recommendations thereon and further analysing obstacles to its full enjoyment, focusing each year on specific commitments in the Declaration;
`1` رصد واستعراض التقدم المحرز في اتجاه تعزيز وإعمال الحق في التنمية على النحو المفصل في إعلان الحق في التنمية، على المستويين الوطني والدولي، وتقديم توصيات في هذا الشأن، ومواصلة تحليل العقبات التي تعوق التمتع بهذا الحق تمتعاً كاملاً، والتركيز كل عام على التزامات محددة في هذا الإعلان؛

I. THE CONCEPT AND THE CONTENT of the right to development as THE RIGHT TO A PROCESS 2 - 16 3

The recognition of the right to development as an integral part of all fundamental human rights was one of the major achievements of the World Conference on Human Rights in 1993.
ويشكل الاعتراف بالحق في التنمية بوصفه جزءا لا يتجزأ من جميع حقوق اﻹنسان اﻷساسية إنجازاً من الانجازات الرئيسية للمؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان الذي عقد في عام ٣٩٩١.

In this context, the duty of international cooperation for realization of the right to development as stipulated in article 3 of the Declaration on the Right to Development was stressed.
