6. In accordance with Article 5, the Convention shall enter into force six months after the date of deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.
6- وفقاً لأحكام المادة 5 من الاتفاقية، يبدأ سريان الاتفاقية بعد مضي ستة أشهر من تاريخ إيداع الصك العشرين من صكوك التصديق أو القبول أو الإقرار أو الانضمام.

In the event that the deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession occurs prior to the entry into force of the Convention, this Protocol shall not enter into force until the entry into force of the Convention.
وفي حال ايداع الصك العشرين من صكوك التصديق أو القبول أو الاقرار أو الانضمام قبل بدء نفاذ الاتفاقية ، لا يبدأ نفاذ هذا البروتوكول إلا بعد بدء نفاذ الاتفاقية .

1. The present Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date of deposit with the Secretary-General of the United Nations of the twentieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.
١- يبدأ نفاذ هذه الاتفاقية في اليوم الثلاثين من تاريخ إيداع الصك العشرين من صكوك التصديق أو القبول أو الموافقة أو الانضمام لدى ]اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة[.

It became effective on 3 September 1981 after the depositing of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession.
ودخلت الاتفاقية حيز النفاذ في 3 أيلول/سبتمبر 1981 بعد إيداع الصك العشرين للتصديق عليها أو الانضمام إليها.

2. The Convention entered into force on 1 July 2003 following receipt of the twentieth instrument of ratification of the treaty on 14 March 2003.
2 - وبدأ نفاذ الاتفاقية في 1 تموز/يوليه 2003 عقب تلقي صك التصديق العشرين عليها في 14 آذار/مارس 2003.
