At the 16th meeting, on 8 November, the representative of the Congo, in his capacity as Chairman of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, introduced a draft resolution entitled " Regional confidence-building measures " (A/C.1/50/L.20), which was later also sponsored by Cape Verde.
