Taking into account the views expressed by Governments and the still unfinished state of the Uruguay Round, including its institutional follow-up, it may be advisable to review this matter again at the forty-ninth session of the General Assembly on the basis of an updated report of the Secretary-General on strengthening international organizations in the area of multilateral trade.

Given Kazakhstan's lack of experience with multilateral trade, her delegation viewed technical assistance from the competent international organizations as highly valuable and welcomed the conclusions and recommendations of the Secretary-General's report on strengthening international organizations in the area of multilateral trade (A/49/363) and the increasing role of UNCTAD in that process.
وتعتبر كازاخستان التي تفتقر الى الخبرة في ميدان التبادلات المتعددة اﻷطراف أن المساعدة التقنية التي تقدمها المنظمات الدولية ذات الاختصاص يمكن أن تكون مفيدة وهو يرحب كل الترحيب بالاستنتاجات والتوصيات الواردة في التقرير عن تعزيز المنظمات الدولية في مجال التجارة المتعددة اﻷطراف )A/49/363( وكذلك بالدور الذي يضطلع به مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية والذي يزداد أهمية يوما بعد يوم.
