14. In its resolution 14/3, the Human Rights Council requested the Advisory Committee to prepare a draft declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace, in consultation with Member States, civil society, academia and all relevant stakeholders.

28. On 18 January 2011, the Chairperson-Rapporteur made a statement to the Advisory Committee of the Human Rights Council on the occasion of the consideration of the progress report on the Right of Peoples to Peace.
28- وفي 18 كانون الثاني/يناير 2011، أدلى الرئيس - المقرر ببيان أمام اللجنة الاستشارية لمجلس حقوق الإنسان بمناسبة النظر في التقرير المرحلي بشأن حق الشعوب في السلم.

1. In its resolution 14/3, the Human Rights Council requested its Advisory Committee, in consultation with Member States, civil society, academia and all relevant stakeholders, to prepare a draft declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace and to report thereon to the Council at its seventeenth session.
طلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان في قراره 14/3 إلى لجنته الاستشارية أن تقوم، بالتشاور مع الدول الأعضاء والمجتمع المدني والأوساط الأكاديمية وجميع الجهات المعنية صاحبة المصلحة، بإعداد مشروع إعلان بشأن حق الشعوب في السلم وأن تقدم تقريراً بهذا الشأن إلى المجلس في دورته السابعة عشرة.

As stated in the preamble to the United Nations Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace (General Assembly resolution 39/11 of 12 November 1984, annex)
وفي ديباجة إعلان اﻷمم المتحدة بشأن حق الشعوب في السلم )قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٩/١١ المؤرخ ١٢ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٨٤، المرفق( جاء أن:

The Declaration on the Use of Scientific and Technological Progress in the Interests of Peace and for the Benefit of Mankind General Assembly resolution 3384 (XXX) of 10 November 1975. and the Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace General Assembly resolution 39/11 of 12 November 1984.
ويرتبط الاعلان الخاص باستخدام التقدم العلمي والتكنولوجي لصالح السلم ولخير البشرية)٥٥( والاعلان بشأن حق الشعوب في السلم)٦٥( ارتباطا وثيقا بقضية حقوق الانسان والبيئة.

Non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders expressed their support for the inclusion in the preamble of a reference to the Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace as well as to the Declaration on the Right to Development.
38- وأعربت المنظمات غير الحكومة هي وسائر أصحاب المصالح عن تأييدها لتضمين الديباجة إشارة للإعلان بشأن حق الشعوب في السلام إضافة إلى إعلان الحق في التنمية.
