The Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances adopted a general comment on enforced disappearance as a continuous crime and a general comment on the right to the truth in relation to enforced disappearances.

In that regard, the authors refer to the Working Group on Enforced and Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID) general comment No. 10 (2010) on the right to the truth in relation to enforced disappearance which identifies the participation of the relatives of the victim as part of their right to the truth (para. 3).

Lastly the resolution requests the Office of the High Commissioner to prepare a study on the right to the truth and invites special rapporteurs and other mechanisms of the Commission to take the issue into account.
