In paragraph C.3, the General Assembly stressed that the reduction of the maximum assessment rate of 22 per cent " shall apply to the apportionment of the expenses of the United Nations and should have no automatic implication for the apportionment of the expenses of the specialized agencies or the International Atomic Energy Agency. "

"
ويلاحظ الوفد البرازيلي كذلك أن الفقرة 3 من القرار 55/5 جيم الصادر عن الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة يؤكد أنه بالنسبة لجدول المساهمات الحالي، " `فإن المعدل الأقصى للمساهمات المشار إليها في الفقرة 1 من القرار باء أعلاه سوف ينطبق على تخصيص المصروفات لدى الأمم المتحدة ولا ينبغي أن تكون له تداعيات تلقائية لتخصيص المصاريف للوكالات المتخصصة أو الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية` " .
