Should Governments indicate, either directly or through the Secretary-General of UNCTAD reporting according to General Assembly resolution 46/214, that there is the convergence of views necessary to reach agreement on all outstanding issues, then the Board should re-engage and continue its work aimed at facilitating agreement on the Code " .
وإذا أشارت الحكومات، سواء مباشرة أو عن طريق اﻷمين العام لﻷونكتاد عند تقديمه تقريره وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة ٦٤/٤١٢، إلى وجود تقارب وجهات النظر الضروري للتوصل إلى اتفاق على جميع المسائل المعلقة، عندئذ ينبغي أن يباشر المجلس من جديد وأن يواصل عمله الرامي إلى تيسير الاتفاق على المدونة " )٢(.

When a State Party, pursuant to this article, has taken a person into custody, it shall immediately notify, directly or through the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the States which have established jurisdiction in accordance with article 5, paragraphs 1 and 2, and, if it considers it advisable, any other interested States, of the fact that such person is in custody and of the circumstances which warrant that person's detention.
٤ - على الدولة الطرف، متى تحفظت على شخص ما، عملا بهذه المادة، أن تقـوم على الفور، مباشرة أو عن طريق اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة، بإخطار الدول التي قررت ولايتها القضائية وفقا للفقرتين ١ و ٢ من المادة ٥، وأية دول أخرى مهتمة باﻷمر، إذا ما رأت أن من المستصوب القيام بذلك، بوجود هذا الشخص قيد التحفظ وبالظروف التي تبرر احتجازه.

The State Party in which any of the crimes set out in article 11 has been committed shall, if it has reason to believe that an alleged offender has fled from its territory, communicate to the Secretary-General and, directly or through the Secretary-General, to all other States concerned all the pertinent facts regarding the crime committed and all available information regarding the identity of the alleged offender.
