4. The Regional Ministerial Workshop adopted unanimously and recommended the implementation of the Dakar Declaration on the Prevention and Control of Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption, presented below.
٤ - اعتمدت حلقة العمل الوزارية الاقليمية بالاجماع اعلان داكار لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة والفساد ، المرفق بهذا التقرير ، جنبا الى جنب مع توصيات الفريقين العاملين .

Having met for the purpose of examining modalities to strengthen and improve the capacity of our States to respond to Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption and to promote mechanisms of subregional, regional and international cooperation by mutually reinforcing our efforts,
وقد اجتمعنا ، بغرض دراسة طرائق تدعيم وتحسين قدرة بلداننا على مواجهة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد ، وبغية اقامة آليات للتعاون دون الاقليمي والاقليمي والدولي من خلال التعزيز المتبادل لجهودنا ،

Mindful of the crucial importance for action against Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption of appropriate legislation and regulatory measures and of an efficient and fair criminal justice system,
واذ ندرك أن لوجود تشريعات وتدابير تنظيمية مناسبة ، ونظام عدالة جنائية فعال ومنصف ، أهمية حاسمة في العمل على مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد ،

9. We consider extradition, mutual assistance and other forms of international cooperation in criminal matters among the most essential and effective tools in the fight against Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption.
٩ - نرى أن تسليم المجرمين وتبادل المساعدة وسائر أشكال التعاون الدولي في المسائل الجنائية من بين أهم وأنجع اﻷدوات في مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد .

11. The African Regional Ministerial Workshop on Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption, held in Dakar from 21 to 23 July 1997, adopted the Dakar Declaration on the Prevention and Control of Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption (E/CN.15/1998/6/Add.1).
11- واعتمدت حلقة العمل الوزارية الاقليمية الافريقية المعنية بالجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد، التي عقدت في داكار من 21 الى 23 تموز/يوليه 1997، اعلان داكار بشأن منع ومكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد E/CN.15/1998/6/Add.1)).

5. We will translate into action our firm commitment, determination and political will to combat the above-mentioned problems and arrest the expansion of Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption, prevent and control their activities, and protect our societies from the dangers posed by those forms of crime by the following means:
٥ - سوف نترجم التزامنا الراسخ واصرارنا وعزمنا السياسي على مكافحة المشاكل السالفة الذكر الى اجراءات ملموسة لوقف توسع الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد ، ومنع ومكافحة أنشطتهما ، وحماية مجتمعاتنا من اﻷخطار الناشئة عن تلك اﻷشكال من الاجرام بالوسائل التالية :

In his opening address, the Prime Minister of Senegal expressed the hope that the Regional Ministerial Workshop would focus on strengthening international cooperation in technical and substantive fields, in order to improve the professional skills of criminal justice personnel and thereby enable them to achieve greater success in the fight against Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption.
٥ - أعرب رئيس وزراء السنغال في كلمته الافتتاحية عن أمله في أن تركز حلقة العمل الوزارية الاقليمية على تدعيم التعاون الدولي في الميدانين التقني والموضوعي ، من أجل تحسين المهارات المهنية للعاملين في ميدان العدالة الجنائية ، مما يمكنهم من احراز نجاح أكبر في مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية والفساد .

3. Pursuant to the above-mentioned resolutions, the African Regional Ministerial Workshop on Organized Transnational Crime and Corruption was held at Dakar from 21 to 23 July 1997 at the invitation of the Government of Senegal.
٣ - وعملا بالقرارت السالفة الذكر ، عقدت حلقة العمل الوزارية الاقليمية الافريقية المعنية بتدابير مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة والفساد في داكار ، السنغال ، من ١٢ الى ٣٢ تموز/يوليه ٧٩٩١ ، بناء على دعوة من حكومة السنغال .
