The report consists of three sections. Section I contains a list of the participants in outer space activities within the United Nations system; a matrix of outer space programmes is also provided to identify the activities of each participant in specific fields.
٣ - ويتألف التقرير من ثلاثة أبواب : الباب اﻷول يتضمن قائمة الجهات المشاركة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة ؛ كما ترد فيه مصفوفة ببرامج الفضاء الخارجي لتبيين أنشطة كل من الجهات المشاركة في ميادين معينة .

Member States having significant outer space activities should extend security assurances to those who do not have outer space programmes.
وعلى الدول الأعضاء التي تضطلع بقدر مهم من أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي أن تقدم ضمانات أمنية للدول التي ليس لها برامج في مجال الفضاء الخارجي.

A mechanism should be put in place allowing Member States to derive benefits from the peaceful use of outer space activities through existing and future outer space programmes.
وينبغي وضع آلية تتيح للدول الأعضاء جني فوائد من الاستخدام السلمي لأنشطة الفضاء الخارجي من خلال برامج الفضاء الخارجي القائمة والمستقبلية.

Measures aimed at enhancing the transparency of outer space programmes
* التدابير التي تهدف إلى تحسين شفافية برامج الفضاء الخارجي

A mechanism should be put in place allowing Member States to derive benefits from the peaceful use of outer space activities through existing and future outer space programmes.
وينبغي تطبيق آلية تتيح للدول الأعضاء جني فوائد من الاستخدام السلمي للأنشطة الفضائية من خلال برامج الفضاء الخارجي القائمة والمستقبلية.

It is in the interests of all States without exception, even those which do not yet have their own outer space programmes, to ensure that spacecraft operate normally: mankind as a whole is increasingly dependent on outer space activities.
ومن مصلحة كافة الدول دون استثناء، حتى تلك التي لا تملك بعد برامج الفضاء الخارجي الخاصة بها، أن تضمن اشتغال المركبات الفضائية بشكل عادي: فالبشرية جمعاء تعتمد بشكل متزايد على أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي.

29. Mr. Gao Feng (China) said that the United Nations outer space programmes had enabled a useful contribution to be made to the promotion and coordination of space activities.

(b) Member States not involved in outer space activities should have security assurances and may be allowed to derive benefits from peaceful outer space activities and existing peaceful outer space programmes;
(ب) ينبغي أن يتوفر للدول الأعضاء التي لا تضطلع بأنشطة في الفضاء الخارجي ضمانات أمنية كما يمكن أن يتاح لها الحصول على منافع من أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي السلمية ومن برامج الفضاء الخارجي السلمية القائمة؛

It decided not to retain the table on participants in outer space activities and matrix of outer space programmes of the previous report (A/AC.105/886) and instead to make the information in it available on the website for the United Nations Coordination of Outer Space Activities.
وقرّر ألاّ يحتفظ بجدول الهيئات المشاركة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي ومصفوفة برامج الفضاء الخارجي الوارد في التقرير السابق (A/AC.105/886)، وأن يتيح المعلومات الواردة فيه، بدلا من ذلك، على الموقع الشبكي الخاص بتنسيق الأمم المتحدة لأنشطة الفضاء الخارجي.

وقد بادرت روسيا باتخاذ بعض تدابير بناء الثقة في ميدان الفضاء الخارجي وتعوّل على الدول الأخرى التي لها برامج في مجال الفضاء الخارجي لكي تنسج على ذات المنوال.
