Most of the obligations on Parties in part II of the Convention are general in nature and are unlikely to generate disputes among Parties.

Of course to be enforceable under any approach, terms relating to notice of lack of conformity must have become part of the parties' agreement under applicable contract formation rules, which in the case of the CISG are found in part II of the Convention.
